How to enable third-party application access via OAuth on Azure Devops

For security reasons, Microsoft requires you to explicitly enable third party applications like Bird Eats Bug to integrate with your Azure Devops organization via OAuth. This can only be configured within the Azure Devops settings, so we'll walk you through how to set this up.

Step 1. Sign-in to your Azure Devops organization

Sign into your organization e.g. https://dev.azure.com/{yourorganization}

Step 2. Go on "Organization settings"

Once signed in to your organization, you should see this button in the bottom left hand corner of the screen.

Step 3. Go to the "Policies" settings page under the "Security" category, then enable the"Third-party application access via OAuth" option

And that's it! Bird should now integrate smoothly with your Azure Devops organization. However, if you experience any issues, please contact support or your dedicated account manager (for Enterprise customers).
